Ernest Adzentoivich

Ernest Adzentoivich composes music for film, television and advertising. He writes in many diverse styles such as rock, jazz, orchestral and all facets of electronic music. His rich and varied performance and composition background allow him to fuse a multitude of influences to create music that is creative and original.



July 2008

Ernest is happy to welcome the newest member of the Adzentoivich Family "Silas Wolfram Adzentoivich" born July 17th. Recent projects include: scoring Nicole Brending's short film "Horses". The score was mostly lap steel and studio trickery. He is currently at work on Ryan Demler's short film "The Look" to be premiered at the end of August. He recently complete a 10Th CD of material for Adzentoivich Music library and has been busy doing licenses for several TV shows. There is also a photo of Ernest conducting the 11 piece ensemble used for the Columbia University Film Festival trailer in the summer edition of ASCAP Playback Magazine.


March 2008

Several NY Food bank spots Ernest Scored are nominated for Emmy's this year. He is scheduled to score another one later this month to air on MTV. He has been selected to score the Trailer/Teaser for the 2008 Columbia University Film Festival - recording to take place the 2nd week of April with a 14 piece orchestra. Adzentoivich Music recently sub-published 9 cds of material with Musique-Music for France and French territories. Ernest recently completed music for an Advil pitch.


January, February 2008

Ernest has been writing non stop. Recent placements include Real World Denver, The Young and the Restless, RWRR The Duel, Bad Girls Club season 1 and Bad Girls Club Road Trip. He is continuing to do ring tone work for APM. Currently he is finishing up several tracks for Fuel TV. He has been asked to be part of ASCAP's Columbia university film scoring project.


December 2007

Ernest recently composed 2 custom ring tones for APM. He was interviewed in the current issue of Music Connection Magazine as part of the Industry Spotlight feature on the 2008 ASCAP I Create Music Expo.


November 2007

Ernest will be in LA from the 1-4th. He will be attending the Billboard Film and TV conference. He is also scheduled to co-write, play bass and guitar on several tracks for Fuel TV.


October 2007

Ernest recently completed commercial demos for Goguart and Cascade. He is a finalist to have a short shown at the Billboard Film and TV conference in LA on Nov 1-2.


September 2007

Ernest will be attending the IFP Market and Film Makers Conference in NY as a guest of ASCAP from September 16-21.


August 2007

Ernest completed work on the indie film Hindsight as well as commercials for Macy's and Listerine. The twins turned one in August and we are all happy to have made it through the first year in one piece. Ernest did some music editing for World Worlds now airing on PBS.


July 2007

Ernest recently composed another custom ring tone for APM as well as commercials for Digiorno pizza and Nestle Waters. He is currently at work on music for several summer MTV programs as well as an independent film.


June 2007

Adzentoivich Music recently placed a Wonderboy track on Bad Girls Club. Ernest is going to be music editing on a new PBS kids show airing in September.


May 2007

Ernest recently composed several custom ringtones for APM. He also co-wrote a track with Nick Balaban for a new show being developed for Nickelodean. He is currently working on music for an internal film for the New York City Economic Development Corporation.


April 2007

Ernest scored 2 animated shorts that were screened as part of ASCAP's "I Create Music Expo." He licensed new music to MTV's The Duel.


March 2007

Ernest recently finished music for Lulu Wang's HD short "Can Can", as well as tracks for several MTV programs. He also supplied some music to the Sonic Librarian music library. Currently he is mixing a producing a track for French artist "Versari".


February 2007

Plexus was the featured artist on MTV's "The Duel" episode #12. Ernest just completed a track for Gymboree. Ernest will be speaking on 2 panels at the Millennium Music Conference in Harrisburg on Feb 17-18th.


January 2007

Ernest will be editing, mixing and mastering a 2 disc live record for New Orleans artist Davis as well as a live record for New Orleans artist Sera. He is currently working on an article for Tape Op on Carl Glanville (U2).


December 2006

Ernest will be at St. Ann's in Brooklyn Directing the Brooklyn Youth Chorus for Bob Ezrin's production of Lou Reed's "Berlin", December 14-17. He will be editing, mixing and mastering 2 live records for Nick Balaban's New Orlean's concert series. He recently licensed music for MTV's new show "24-7" as well as for Oxygen's "Bad Girls Club" airing now.


October 2006

Ernest will be editing and mastering a 2 disc live record for New Orleans singer Banu.


September 2006

Ernest recently had 2 new additions to the Adzentoivich family born August 23rd Vladimar and Waylon. Recent work has included, demo sessions for an Amex tv spot. Ernest has also completed editing and mastering a 2 disc live record for Dave Moody. He has also placed new music with MTV's "Little Talent" as well as supplying music for a Public service announcement for the NY food bank. June 2006

Ernest will be performing with the Brooklyn Youth Chorus on June 3rd in Brooklyn. He will also be recording with them on June 16th. He is playing Piano's with Kevin March and Kevin Mcginnis on June 7th, and will be performing with Kris Gruen at Joe's Pub on June 30th.


May 2006

Ernest will continue to play bass for John Guare's "Landscape of the Body" at the Signature Theater until May 28st. He will be performing the premier of Fred Hesch's piece "Please Smile" with the Brooklyn Youth Chorus on May 20th at Long Island University. He completed two ESPN demos for Q Department.


April 2006

Ernest will be performing with the Brooklyn Youth Chorus on the 10th at their Spring Gala. As well as continuing to play bass for John Guare's "Landscape of the Body" at the Signature Theater until May 28st.


March 2006

Ernest is set to perform the Civilian's "Gone Missing" at State College, PA on the 18th and will be playing bass for John Guare's "Landscape of the Body" at the Signature Theater From March 28 to May 21st.


January and Februrary 2006

Ernest scored an audio book for Scholastic. Will be performing with Chris Gruen at Joe's Pub on Feb 17. He just finished up a rehersal for the Brooklyn Youth Chorus with Fred Hersch. He is happy to announce the release of several records on which he plays bass. LD and The New Criticism (Darla), Kris Gruen "Lullaby School" (MotherWest), and Stephin Merritt's "Showtunes" (Nonesuch) to be released on March 14th.
