Teaching
Ernest is an accomplished, detail-oriented, high-energy music professional with the ability to motivate students to perform at their finest levels while establishing and maintaining a positive creative environment. He presents a focused and organized approach to understanding musicianship on a professional level, and has the ability to assist students in achieving personal expression through the exploration and integration of diverse musical styles.
His experience includes counseling students on careers in music as performers, composers, engineers and producers. Has spent thousands of hours in the recording studio as a musician, session manager, engineer and producer.
Ernest offers instruction in the following fields: Acoustic and Electric bass, Guitar, Ear training, Harmony, Studio Production. He is currently at work on a unique ear training method and textbook.
He has taught as part of the National Guitar Summer Workshop in both Los Angeles, CA and Canterbury CT. He was a featured panelist at the Millennium Music Conference in 2007.
Ernest maintains a teaching studio in Stamford, CT.
