Bio
Born into a tiny town of 400 people, secluded on the top of a mountain in rural Pennsylvania, Ernest's musical personality was weaned on Yok Tom Billy Urban's Polka Party, Dial-N-Deal (a sort of call in yard sale), and the Saturday morning 50's doo-wop radio show, as well as Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton 8-tracks. The music played next door at his grandparents bar was Merle Haggard, Willy Nelson, Hank Williams Sr., Patsy Cline, etc. (the good old country music), as well as a ton of Elvis.
Guitar and bass lessons, along with favored recordings by Kiss, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Captain Beefheart, Frank Zappa and The Beatles... comprised Ernest's formative musical influences. These early influences and experiences combined with playing in local bands steered Ernest to Boston's Berklee College of Music.
Ernest Graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree magna cum laude and continued his education in Boston studying with jazz great Ran Blake and the Boston Symphony's John Stovall. He spent every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night jamming as the house bassist at Wally's Cafe with the best local musicians, as well as with the likes of Kenny Garrett, Jeff Watts, Josh Redman, Antoino Hart and several Marsalis Brothers.

He has also recorded for many international artists including Danille Howle, Stephen Merritt, DJ FS, DJ Spooky and The Real Tuesday Weld.
